MAINTENANCE & CARE
- Wait 24-48 hours before washing/sweating post installation.
- Do not go to bed with your hair wet or leave the extensions/bond wet as this can break down the bond, create excessive residue and/or make the extensions slip.
- Do not use high heat and avoid over styling with tools like blow dryer/flat iron/curling iron.
- Do not put oils, conditioners on or near the bond. Apply products from the midshaft, down.
- When brushing the extensions, be gentle and avoid tension by working from the bottom up. Hold near the point of attachment while brushing the bottom portion, working your way up. ALWAYS be gentle.
- Do not brush directly on the point of attachment.
- Use our Platinum Seamless products shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioning spray, mask as needed. **Apply oils, conditioning products from the mid shaft down.

Are they safe for fine/thin hair?
Absolutely! With over a decade of experience, we’ve seen firsthand that tape-in extensions are the safest method—when done correctly. The key is the expertise of your extension specialist. Many salons focus on volume business, rushing through appointments at the expense of your hair’s health. A true specialist prioritizes quality over quantity, ensuring safe, tailored application. Additionally, not all tape-in brands are created equal. Some are too heavy for fine or thin hair, yet many salons only offer a single brand for all clients. For the best results, trust a specialist with in-depth knowledge and customized solutions.
What are some variables that can affect my overall cost?
- Your baseline length– The shorter your hair and the longer you want to go, the more hair extensions will be required.
- Your baseline density– The thicker your hair, the more hair extensions are needed to match the density.
- Overall Goal for Volume and Length – If your primary goal is to add volume rather than length, the cost is typically lower. The longer the extensions, the higher the cost as you are paying for the added length.
- The brand
- Amount of hair needed to attain the end goal.
- Customized color. At minimum, at least 2 packs are suggested to attain a highlight/lowlight effect, adding to the overall cost.
- How well you care for them – Proper at-home maintenance is just as crucial as the expertise of your Hair Extension Specialist. The better you care for your extensions, the longer they will last.
Do you offer Wavy Tape in Hair Extensions and Curly Tape in Hair Extensions?
Wavy Tape-In hair extensions are available but must be ordered after a consultation to match your wave pattern. Tape In extensions for curly hair are also available as a custom order, exclusively in Traditional Tape-Ins (not minis).
Can I just send a picture of my hair vs an in-person consultation?
Hair extensions are an investment in yourself, and we’re committed to delivering the best results. While photos can help, they don’t always capture essential details with accuracy like color and density. To ensure clear expectations and a seamless experience, we start every client with a complimentary 30-minute consultation.
If you would like to schedule same day install for custom mini tape in hair extensions, we do require a deposit to book that will go towards the service unless cancelled/rescheduled.
